For effective tanking, complete and thorough preparation is essential. A waterproof render is only as good as the bond of its first coat so walls have to be properly hacked off and free of loose particles to ensure sufficient key. Kilrot use a concrete based multi-coat plastering system which will be applied to the specification which meets your particular needs. For example whether the walls are damp, or wet and subject to water pressure. A choice of finishes is available and our surveyors will advise you which is the most appropriate for the intended use.
